The University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney are working together to develop special collection libraries which are available to the communities to provide assistance for students to view and do relevant research. To be specific, these documents would be available to students in the online form. However, these virtual reading rooms would be available to students on a one-on-one basis via appointments.
Moreover, these universities are very enthusiastic about providing access to these rare archives to the students. Accordingly, a virtual reading room would provide convenience to students who are not able to be physically present on the University campus due to various reasons.
In the meantime, Elizabeth Litting, Associate Director of Education from the University of Sydney, has said that the library resources are top-notch, and all the relevant technologies have been implemented to ensure students are able to obtain relevant archives to assist their research and academic work.
