University of Sydney Neuroscientist Awarded NSW Scientist of the Year

Professor Glenda Halliday from the University of Sydney has been recognized as the 2022 NSW scientist of the year. Moreover, this award is in recognition of her work for the recognition of dementia and other degenerative symptoms.
Besides most of their career of Prof Halliday has been on investigating around the behaviour of the brain when the body is affected by different neurodegenerative diseases. Besides she also had a proper contribution towards providing appropriate cures and rehabilitation for individuals suffering from different neurodegenerative diseases.
Alongside her approach of combining the principles of different subjects such as biochemistry and genetics has led to significant changes in the overall diagnostic arena and thus provided appropriate identification of diseases and thus providing the right treatment. In meantime, the recipient of NSW scientist of the year is in recognition of providing revolutionary changes in the field of Science and Technology as a whole.
