The University of Western Australia receives funding to boost its research on protein

The University of Western Australia and Proteomics International have received funding of $2 Million to conduct vita work with respect to conducting vital work in medical, environmental and agriculture-based testing for the proteins. Moreover, using these funds, the WA Proteomics facility would be used to acquire more advanced level automotive equipment as a part of their expertise for providing output to enrich thousand of sample extraction from a single client.

In the meantime, Proteomics International, along with the University of Western Australia, will invest around $2 million for the next 3 years and thus ensuring the bulking up of the funding that comes from the bio platforms.

According to Dr Elke Stroeher, the Operation Manager from the UWA, “The Commonwealth has chosen to invest in our facility here in Western Australia because our effective public-private partnership can support research and industry needs at the same time,”
