Revolutionary screening test application to check for Parkinson's and Covid
A research team from RMIT university have developed a screening test application to detect Parkinson's Disease and early signs of COVID. Moreover, the research was conducted by a dedicated team of researchers that are able to produce accurate research results. Besides, Parkinson's disease is one of the most commonly affected medical ailments that have millions of patients worldwide. Specifically, this disease causes imbalances in brain function. Furthermore, it is difficult to detect these diseases using existing technologies.
Currently, it takes about 90 minutes to detect Parkinson's. While the app that is being developed utilises only 10 seconds for the detection of diseases. This app utilises the sample of the voice recording of the patient, and using this, it is possible to detect whether they have the disease and thus can contact the neurologist for further treatment.
Likewise, a similar test has been developed for Covid and thus could more effectively detect covid. Further, the team wants to test the result of the test on a larger population and thus could find essential results and test the efficiency of the app; thus, in case of any errors, they could perfect the functionality of this screening mechanism.
