Revolutionary diet tracking app developed by Monash University

The Monash University project has developed a platform using public health and nutrition policy in Malaysia. Furthermore, Intake 24, the open-source tool, was used to track the regulated information related to dietary intake. Moreover, this system has been developed in the UK with the interaction of nutrition researcher Dr Emma Foster from Monash University.
In the meantime, this app would be used in Malaysia, which would also contain a translation into other languages such as Malay and Mandarin. Besides, the intake 24 Malaysia project would be a collaborative effort with the researchers from Monash University and also the experts from the University of Cambridge’s MRC Epidemiology Unit.
While the intake 24 Malaysia is expected to develop by 2023, and data capturing will be participated as data in Malaysia by 2024. Meanwhile, the Intake 24 Application is currently used by the UK Department of Health, and there are future plans for application in several other countries such as UAE, Portugal, Denmark and various South Asian countries.
