Researchers at the University of Sydney and Curtin University have published a new book “The Food in a Planetary Emergency” that tells how global food production and consumption create an impact on the environment and contribute to radiation. Researchers have also published an effective way to improve the quality of the environment through proper food production and consumption. Researchers said that this book is an overview of the current food system and the required changes to respond to the challenges of climate change. In this book, writers have written about the effective ways that one can use to help burb emission and to protect the habitats from becoming endangered. Diana Bogueva, co-author of this book said that “Greenhouse gas radiation is increasing, along with the global population set to reach 8.5 billion by 2030,” It means that the production of food and agriculture systems are giving strain on the environment. Several reasons behind this are loss of biodiversity, deforestation, loss of savannahs, plastics pollution, etc.
