Researchers of Monash University conducted research and found that abnormal changes in temperature is the major reason behind the increasing death rate. With this research, researchers have analysed that from 2000 to 2019 every year 1.7 million people are dying due to unstable temperatures. Researchers of Monash University have conducted their research by taking the data from MCC Collaborative Research Network. To come up with a conclusion, researchers have examined the association between the unstable temperature and morality in 750 locations across 43 countries or regions. Professor Yuming Guo, Director of the Monash Climate, Air Quality Research (CARE) Unit, said that the world should pay more attention to the impact of an unstable climate on the health of the citizens. There are many policies introduced to overcome climate-related events. However, there are very few policies created to overcome with the health issues due to erratic temperatures. Professor Yuming Guo also said that the unstable climate is the major public health concern of the 21st century. Their findings show that temperature variability has similar impacts to air pollution on global mortality,".
