Chris Greening, a researcher and professor at Monash University, has been awarded the Fenner Medal by the Australian Academic of Science for his outstanding research in Microbiology. Fenner Medal is named after the late professor FJ Fenner. To recognise his outstanding contribution to the field of biology, the award has been named after Fenner Medal. In an interview with Chris Greening said that it is an incredible honour for him to get Fenner Medal.
