The University of Queensland has developed a medical suite to conduct research on various neurological conditions affecting more than 10 million people worldwide. The medical facility was recently launched at the UQ's Centre dedicated to clinical research. Moreover, this research facility will be the top research place for scientists and health professionals to directly work and interact with neurological patients to learn about the new treatments for various disorders that affect the nervous system.

The Neurological researcher at UQCCR, Professor Henderson, said that this suit had been specifically designed to meet the need and growing demand for new types of treatment for various disorders thus also assisting them in increasing their clinical trials potentially.

Among the various clinical trial patients is Matt Whyte, who has been suffering from Motor Neurone Disease and wants to help scientists and physicians find a cure.

In the meantime, UQCCR is committed to improving the overall outcomes of the patients and ensuring their treatments for ailments such as stroke, epilepsy, brain injury and many more. Furthermore, Dr Henderson says the suite ensures one-on-one attention for patients undergoing clinical trials. Besides, the suite's main purpose is to become the one-stop solution for various neurological ailments.
