Planet Research

The Seismologist from the prestigious Australian National University has developed a revolutionary method using which the interior core of the solar system can be conducted. Moreover using the research findings it could be estimated whether the planets have a core./p>

Specifically, the scan method is similar to the ultrasound method. In this method, the sound waves are sent to the planetary surface and with the data collected from the reflected sound one can learn information about the size of the core of the planet. The research information is also published in the Nature Astronomy journal. /p>

Co-Author from ANU Hrvoje Tkalčić has used this research model to scan the overall surface of the planet Mars. To carry out the research the scientist from ANU utilised the data from the seismometer which was attached to the In-sight lander. Furthermore, this lander has been on the surface of Mars since 2018 collecting relevant data.
